Joe De Maio

Joe De Maio - Instructor

Joe De Maio was born in Parsippany, New Jersey and his passion for the game of golf led him to Myrtle Beach in 2005 to pursue his education and a career in golf.

Joe has been in the golf industry for over ten years and has been teaching the game for the last four. He is currently enrolled as a PGA Apprentice. He has worked with all ages and is proficient in coaching juniors to their highest potential. For the last couple years, Joe has been able to watch and learn teaching techniques from some of the best instructors in the industry, including Nick Bradley (Coach for Justin Rose from 2006 to 2008). This has helped Joe develop his own teaching and coaching style that gets the most out of each student.

Joe played golf professionally for several years on a local developmental tour and in PGA Section Events.

A true student of the game, Joe is a self taught golfer who believes in his craft. He is constantly learning new ways to help keep the student engaged in the process and to get the most out of their potential. He looks forward to developing the next wave of top level golfers.
